9th ANNUAL SMOKIN' THE SOUND & SMOKIN THE LAKE! Smokin' The Sound (April 26-29) & Smokin the Lake (May 4-6) Spectacular parties, great local entertainment, and the Biggest, Loudest, & Fastest Race Boats converging on the Mississippi Sound & Gulfport Lake! Held Two Weekends! Smokin' the Lake features over 60 boats racing in seven categories while Smokin' the Sound features over 30 race boats clocking speeds of over 150 mph in 13 categories! Smokin' the Sound is the first race of the year for the Offshore Super Series Powerboat Racing Association. In addition, enjoy an awesome air show of helicopters hovering as close as 25 feet from the boats & the action! No binoculars needed!
